Sidecue: Privacy Policy

Sidecue is built to need as little of your data as possible. We do not sell data, ever.

No account. The app does not ask you to sign up and we do not receive your name, email or contact details from it.
Your data stays on your device. What you enter is stored on your device. We run no server that stores it.
Your scripts are saved only on your PC (in your Windows user folder). Sidecue has no account and no cloud storage.
Phone remote (optional). When you scan the QR code, your script text and playback state (speed, position) pass through our relay server at clane.app so your phone can show and control them. The relay keeps them in memory only, never writes them to disk, and drops them at most 6 hours after both devices disconnect. The connection code is random and lives on your PC.
Voice follow (optional) uses the speech recognition built into Windows. Sidecue does not record or store audio. If Windows "Online speech recognition" is on, Microsoft processes the audio under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Server logs. Like any website, clane.app keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page) for up to 14 days to keep the service secure.
No ads and no third-party tracking in the current version. If that changes, this page is updated first and the app will ask for permission as Microsoft requires.
Purchases are handled by Microsoft. We never see your payment details.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Deleting the app removes its data from your device. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected]. We reply within 7 days.
