Transcription is slow.

Choose Fast in the Accuracy menu. Most accurate uses a much larger model and can take several times longer on older PCs. Closing other heavy apps helps too.

The first transcript is stuck at the start.

The first time you use a model Saidly downloads it once (about 150 MB for Fast, more for the others). Check your internet connection; after that download it works offline.

Recording computer audio captures nothing.

Pick Computer audio or Mic + computer in the source menu, and make sure the call or video is playing through your default speakers or headphones in Windows sound settings.

The microphone records silence.

Allow microphone access for Saidly in Windows Settings > Privacy & security > Microphone.

Where are my transcripts?

In Documents\Saidly\Transcripts. The Open transcripts folder button takes you there. Recordings are saved next to them as WAV files.

Is it a subscription?

No. Saidly is a one-time purchase handled by the Microsoft Store, with a 7-day trial first.
