The Light-House: Privacy Policy

The Light-House is built to need as little of your data as possible. We do not sell data, ever.

No account. The app does not ask you to sign up and we do not receive your name, email or contact details from it.
Your data stays yours. What you enter is stored on your device and, if iCloud is on, synced by Apple to your other devices with the same Apple ID. We run no server that stores it and cannot read it.
Other keepers. To show you the other lights along the coast and pass bottles between players, the app sends a random keeper id, the keeper name the game made up, your ship count and the one line you write in a bottle to our small server. No account, no email, no device identifiers. Bottle text is filtered and kept for 30 days; the counts are kept while you play.
Keeper's Almanac is a one-time purchase handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.
Ads. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. The app asks before any cross-app tracking (Apple ATT); in the EEA, UK and Switzerland a consent message is shown first, and you can change your choice at any time in the app.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Deleting the app removes its data from your device. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected]. We reply within 7 days.
